Vandalia Homecoming Party

We just came in from the Homecoming Parade for Vandalia (where my Dad, Aunt Jen, and Uncle Jay Bird went to high school). We are at Uncle Jay's house getting ready for some munchies and a good football game. Aunt Shannon and my Mom are talking while I am warming my bones in that heap of blankets.

I am still warming up from the parade. It was colder out there than anything I have ever felt yet.

I wasn't allowed in this group picture because it was raining and cold outside. But this is Rosie, Aunt Jen, Uncle JD, and my cousin PJ. The game is going on in the background. Vandalia did win the game!

An Update for My Friends and Family

Hi everyone -- I am sorry that it has been a long time since I have put any pictures up for you. My Mom and Dad keep me busy and I just haven't taken the time in a while to get these pictures posted.  But, there are a lot  of pictures coming. Hopefully it will have been worth any wait...

I have learned something new since I think I have posted any new pictures on my blog. Now I can SMILE and I like to smile a lot. I even add sounds and giggle sometimes. I hear my Mom and Dad saying it is really cute.

You can see here that I wore my Dad out -- I decided to give him a short break and work on my sleeping too. Wasn't long until I woke up and started smiling again though. I try to give my parents a break every once in a while.

Trip to Uncle Geoff's House

Getting packed up to make my first trip to Michigan. It is already time to take the docks out at the lake - this is the first sign of Winter I keep hearing. I don't know anything about Winter -- I'm putting my hat on for this one!

I was really happy to meet Uncle Geoff. We got to his house on Lake LeeAnn late Friday evening.

My Dad told me Uncle Geoff might have a Manhattan ready for us and that we may marinate a few ice cubes over the weekend...

After we got done taking out the docks the weather was perfect for a nap with Uncle Geoff. The sun felt good shining in while I was sleeping.

For me, the weekend was a lot about sleeping. I don't know what it was but I was really tired.
